Michigan gameday 2013 #10: at Northwestern

I'm not sure what to expect from my alma mater, which is now 6-3, and simply playing for pride and a better bowl game.  Still, I hope this team sheds its offensive predictability and finishes strong.  The home stretch of the season begins this afternoon at 3:30 as Michigan heads to Evanston for a tilt with 4-5 Northwestern, who started out a hot, hot, hot 4-0 before losing five straight conference matchups, including a close call against OSU, a dismantling by Wisconsin, then three straight heartbreakers against Minnesota, Iowa, and Nebraska.  The latter ended with a particularly hard-to-digest hail mary game-winning TD by the Huskers.  Then again, the Wolverines are also coming off a bitter Nebraska loss, and are at least bowl-eligible, which is more than the Wildcats can say, needing wins in two of its final three games.

Can the Wolverines right the ship against a fierce team with nothing to lose?  Will Devin Gardner restore some confidence to his game with a gutsy win?  Will the O-line block anybody?!  Tune in to (ugh) BTN at 3:30 EST to find out!
LET'S GO BLUE!
