2014 Michigan Gameday #12: at Ohio State

It's the final week of the regular season for Michigan and that always means one thing:  The Game.  5-6 Michigan travels to Columbus for what will likely be a beating that prevents the Wolverines from going into a bowl game, plus provide a fitting end for Brady Hoke as head coach.

If nothing else I can be a typical Michigan fan that lives in the past!  The Wolverines lead the overall series 58-45-6, though they've won just once in the last 10 years.  A repeat of last year's near-win is extremely unlikely, but that's ok as right now Michigan fans have just one item on their Christmas lists:  a sure-thing head coach.

Still, I'll be watching as always, so

Michigan gameday 2013 #12: vs. Ohio State

A 7-4 Wolverines squad faces a heavily-favored Buckeyes team at 12 pm EST today in Ann Arbor.  Michigan has seen a once-promising season go down the drain with some crushing losses, and this afternoon looks to salvage something with a very unlikely underdog win over its most hated rival.  Can Michigan mar OSU's undefeated season?  Will the Wolverines make up for a season's worth of offensive ineptitude just in time?  Is there enough Kleenex in the world for Urban Meyer if his team remains undefeated but doesn't make it to the BCS championship?  It's time to pull out all the stops and get this rivalry going in the right direction again.  BEAT OHIO!

Michigan gameday #12: at Ohio

This is it:  Michigan's final regular season game.  A Big Ten Championship Game berth is no longer on the line, but the Wolverines are playing for something larger:  bragging rights over hated rival Ohio.  Last year new coach Brady Hoke ended a terrible losing streak, and this year new Buckeye coach Urban Meyer gets his first taste of The Game.  Someone's going home disappointed, and I sure hope it isn't us.  LET'S GO BLUE!
